Hurricane Ida oil spills 'mind-boggling,' but likely not as bad as Katrina, Rita   MARK SCHLEIFSTEIN AND TRISTAN BAURICK | Staff writers PUBLISHED SEP 13, 2021 AT 4:00 AM | UPDATED SEP 13, 2021 AT 7:21 AM, https://www.nola.com/news/environment/article_bca326b0-1250-11ec-b0d6-fbaf7548a8d0.html Section 1: Hurricane Ida and its Impact on Oil Hurricane Ida is a recent hurricane to hit our coasts here in America. My Favorite Place to Spend Time, The Salem Willows

Image
I love the Salem willows, it is a park near the coast located in Salem, MA. The Willows were a very popular choice of my father to spend time during the summer. Many long days were spent relaxing on the beaches, or crab fishing off the pier. Another fun thing that I often did with my father at the Willows was go kayaking off the shore. We would paddle out half a mile at most and just enjoy being out on the ocean. Seeing other small boats drive past us, and looking at the occasional seal or seagull. I plan on visiting the willows soon and will be taking some photos under the large willow trees that populate the park grounds.   Dead Horse Beach Salem Willows 1994, Photo Taken by   Jonathon M.
